The Brand Visibility Score is how we measure it — seven pillars across three weighted bands, rolled into one number out of 100. Clear enough for a board meeting, specific enough to know exactly what to fix first.

The score is calculated from seven pillars, each scored 0–100 by our analysts, then grouped into three weighted bands. Discovery (40%) asks whether AI can find and recommend you. Integrity (25%) asks whether what it finds is accurate and sound. Conversion & Value (35%) asks whether that visibility becomes revenue. The gap between a high Discovery score and a low Value score is exactly where money leaks — and where the retainer earns its keep. Scores are recalibrated quarterly against a benchmark dataset of 100+ brands.

Common questions

FAQ

How often is the score recalibrated?
The scoring rubric and benchmarks are updated quarterly. AI engines change their citation patterns and training data regularly — a score from 6 months ago reflects a different landscape. We recommend re-auditing every 90 days for clients on retainer.
How are the 25+ AI prompts selected?
Prompts are written specifically for each brand's category and competitor set. We include: category queries ("best clean sunscreen under ₹1,000"), comparison queries ("X vs Y brand"), problem-solution queries ("help me with dry skin routine"), and branded queries (the brand name directly). We test each prompt 2–3 times across sessions to account for variability in LLM responses.
Is this the same as an SEO audit?
No. SEO & Technical Foundation is one of seven pillars and sits inside the Integrity band — roughly 12% of the total score. A traditional SEO audit won't tell you what AI says about you, which sources it cites, whether those claims are accurate, or what your visibility gap is worth in rupees. That's the difference between SEO and Answer Engineering.
Can a small brand score well?
Yes. Brand size and budget are weakly correlated with Brand Visibility Score. We've seen ₹5Cr revenue brands outperform ₹200Cr brands on AI Answer Share-of-Voice because they publish more specific, structured, citable content. The score is about signal quality, not spend.
What does the 90-day roadmap include?
A prioritised list of actions ranked by estimated revenue impact and implementation effort. Each action names the exact page, keyword, prompt type, or structural change. Actions are bucketed into: immediate quick wins (0–30 days), medium-term moves (30–60 days), and strategic investments (60–90 days). Delivered as a working document, not a slide deck.
